Harwin Introduces Compact, High Pin Count 0.8mm Pitch Mezzanine Connectors for High Density Industrial Systems

     Continuing to expand its product portfolio for the industrial market, Harwin is now announcing the Archer .8 series, a dual row 0.8mm pitch board-to-board connector series with a stacking height of 5mm for applications where space is limited and price/performance is important , which includes applications such as factory automation and environmental monitoring equipment, smart meters, retail equipment, server/data center hardware, and battery management systems for electric vehicles.

     Archer .8 connectors have all the properties required by modern industrial equipment. Carrying 0.5A per phosphor bronze contact, these connectors are available in 30, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 120 pin count versions to meet a wide range of design requirements. Its polarized design aids in mounting orientation and alignment and prevents mismating, while the shrouded housing protects the contacts from accidental damage. To facilitate an automated assembly process, the series of connectors are supplied in tape and reel with locating locking pins.
