Harwin Adds Female Connectors for Semi-Rigid Coax to Datamate Mix-Tek Option

     To further complement the program where different parts of the 4mm pitch Datamate Mix-Tek connector can be sourced separately, Harwin is now offering customers a new receptacle option. Like all Mix-Tek coax contacts, the M80-310 is designed for data transmission and supports frequencies up to 6GHz. The new contacts fit 1.19mm/0.047" diameter semi-rigid coaxial cables, and their 90° oriented surface is optimized for the limited space available above wire-to-board connections.

     The M80-310 contacts are available in a variety of Mix-Tek High Reliability (Hi-Rel) housing types, from 2 up to 12 position versions. These housings feature various twist locks to ensure that the mating connection is resistant to vibrations up to 10G and shocks up to 100G. The new product is fully compatible with all current coaxial male connectors in the Mix-Tek product portfolio, providing a 50 ohm impedance connection. These contacts feature gold-plated contacts and outer layers that can withstand at least 500 mating cycles. Harwin's global distribution network provides inventory and availability of these touchpoints, which can be widely integrated into important applications such as robotics, industrial equipment, military/aerospace equipment, and satellite/scientific test satellites.
