Flex Power Modules BMR492 series add new products, 1/8 brick modules can provide up to 1100W peak power

     Flex Power Modules announced that the BMR492 series of through-hole digital regulated isolated bus converters has been released, adding two higher power products BMR4920100/001 and BMR4920300/864. The BMR4920100/001 has a rated output of 10.4V/67.4A at 40 to 60V input (80V/100 ms) and can deliver up to 950W of peak power in less than 1 second. While the BMR4920300/864 have the same input voltage range, with a 12V output at 66.7A, it can deliver 800W of continuous power and 1100W of peak power.

     Both new products are packaged in an industry standard one-eighth brick (58.4 x 22.7 x 14mm) with their own baseplate and advanced thermal management technology to achieve higher than half-load conditions. 97% efficiency and maintain high efficiency below 10% load. New product features up to 1500VDC input-to-output and input-to-substrate isolation voltage, meets IEC/UL/EN 62368 safety standards, provides tight regulation, has a typical 50µs transient load response time, and guarantees pre-bias set (pre-bias) to start.

     The BMR492 series has comprehensive control and protection features including remote on/off, input undervoltage, output overvoltage, output overcurrent and short circuit protection. With the free-to-use Flex Power Designer software suite, a PMBusTM interface is provided for remote configuration and monitoring.
