FMBD EP is SCHURTER's flagship EMC filter redesigned for three-phase power systems and machinery

     The FMBD EP is SCHURTER's flagship two-pole filter series, which is more compact than ever before, suitable for three-phase systems with neutral, and special versions are available for high rated voltage applications. This range of products is suitable for applications with very high electromagnetic radiation, such as equipment and systems for automated production, motor drives, and industrial plant machinery. This range of powerful filters is also the preferred accessory for modern frequency converters used to control motors.

     FMBD EP series filter products use top-quality components, such as large-size film capacitors and choke coils with high magnetic permeability, which make this series of products have excellent broadband filter attenuation performance. The filters in this series are designed for currents from 16A to 230A at an ambient temperature of 50°C and have an operating temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. The standard version is suitable for industrial applications with leakage current less than 9.4mA, while the special version with leakage current less than 2.5mA is suitable for applications sensitive to leakage current.

     This series of filters features screw terminals for secure wiring, while metal flanges ensure excellent grounding performance when the filter is screwed to the chassis. This series of products up to 520VAC has passed ENEC and cURus certification, while 760VAC products have also passed ENEC and UR certification.

     The redesigned FMBD EP series filters are a perfect replacement for the SCHURTER Group FMBD and FMBD NEO series filters, offering the same performance while significantly reducing their size and weight.
