Diodes company's single gate logic device locks car infotainment systems, ADAS and other automotive product applications

     Diodes Corporation announced a new addition to its growing portfolio of automotive-qualified logic devices. Both the 74AHC1GxxQ (standard CMOS) and 74AHCT1GxxQ (TTL compatible) devices are AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified, manufactured in an IATF 16949 certified facility, and are PPAP capable.

     Single-gate logic devices are widely used in automotive systems where gate control signals, buffering or inversion of signals are required. The new devices provide dual-input single-gate solutions for AND, OR, XOR, NAND and NOR gates, as well as inverters and buffers. Inverters are available with or without Schmitt trigger inputs, while buffers feature tri-state outputs that enable active high or active low.

     CMOS compatible 74AHC1GxxQ devices operate between 2.0V and 5.5V, while TTL compatible 7A4HCT1GxxQ devices operate between 4.5V and 5.5V. Propagation delays for CMOS inverters (74AHC1G04QSE-7) are typically between 4.5ns and TTL compatible Schmitt trigger inverters (74AHCT1G14QSE-7) are typically 5.9ns.

     Diodes adds the 74AHC1GxxQ and 74AHCT1GxxQ to its growing portfolio of automotive logic devices, including the 74LVC1GxxQ family, the largest category of AEC-Q100 qualified products offered by Diodes. Diodes chose to use automotive-spec device-specific dies, remove the circuitry under the pads, and use gold bond wires for the highest reliability.

     The 74AHC1GxxQ, 74AHCT1GxxQ and 74LVC1GxxQ series are currently available in SOT25 and SOT353 packages.
