Diodes Incorporated offers the highly optimized AP7347DQ low dropout (LDO) regulator for demanding noise-sensitive power-related automotive applications. This automotive-spec, high-output precision LDO is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified, produced in an IATF 16949-certified facility, and fully supports the Automotive Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). These features make this product ideal for designing several important in-vehicle functions, including point-of-load (POL) product applications in ADAS, automotive wireless communication systems, RF subsystems, and infotainment power supplies.
The 75dB power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and output noise of only 60µVrms give the AP7347DQ a considerable advantage in performance. It features 12 fixed output voltages and maintains ±1% voltage output accuracy over an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The wide input voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V meets the requirements of many automotive product applications, while the quiescent current of 60µA reduces standby power losses.
The AP7347DQ has an enable pin; if the device is disabled, a built-in active discharge feature ensures that the system starts up in a known state. Overheating and short circuit protection are integrated, and a 180mA foldback current limit is added in the event of a short circuit. Also available in SOT25 and high power density sidewall plating W-DFN2020-6 (SWP) packages.
