COSEL announced the addition of 10W and 15W power supplies to its line of thin, open rack power supplies

     COSEL has announced the addition of two compact open-frame power supplies to its LHA family for demanding industrial applications. The LHA10F and LHA15F use the latest power switching technology, so the size is 15% smaller than conventional products on the market, and the leakage current is 50% lower. The LHA10F and LHA15F are suitable for a wide range of applications, operating in the temperature range of -10 to +70 ° C, and are UL/EN62368-1 certified.

     As systems become more integrated, factory automation requires more compact power supplies that can work with higher levels of safety in a variety of environments. The LHA10F and LHA15F are designed to provide strong isolation levels and very low leakage currents.Designed for worldwide applications, the LHA10F and LHA15F have a single-phase input voltage range of 85VAC to 264VAC and meet the safety standard input voltage range of 100-240VAC (50/60Hz).

     The LHA10F and LHA15F have five output voltage specifications, respectively 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V and corresponding current. In both models, only the 3.3V output voltage can be adjusted in the range of 2.85V to 3.63V. The rest of the output voltage is factory fixed.The LHA10F and LHA15F benefit from the better switching topology of the LHA high-power series. Operating efficiency is 84.5% with 230VAC input voltage and rated load.

     Both power supplies have surge current limiting, overcurrent (which automatically restores when errors are eliminated), and overvoltage protection circuits.Both power supplies are designed to operate at temperatures ranging from -10 to +70 ° C and can be installed anywhere. Depending on the ambient temperature, the rated output power may be reduced.

     In noise test, LHA10F and LHA15F meet the requirements of FCC-B, VCCI-B, CISPR11-B, CISPR32-B, EN55011-B and EN55032-B. The input and output isolation voltages of the two power supplies are 3000VAC, 2000VAC and 500VAC respectively. Their leakage currents are very low, with a maximum leakage current of 150 microampere for the LHA10F and 100 microampere for the LHA15F at 240VAC/60Hz input voltages.

     Both power supplies are designed for demanding applications where space is limited, with the LHA10F measuring only 50 X 21.5 X 62.5mm (1.97 X 0.85 X 2.46 in) and weighing a maximum of 45 grams. The LHA15F measures 50 X 21.5 X 73.5mm (1.97 X 0.85 X 2.89 in) and has a maximum weight of 60 grams.

     Additional options for specific application requirements, Option C conformal coating for improved moisture resistance, Option J4 for input and output EP connectors, Option S for base, Option SN for base and cap, Option Y for output voltage potentiometer.The LHA10F and LHA15F complement the LHA family of products, offering power outputs from 10W to 300W, providing more options for demanding industrial applications. This power supply provides an ideal solution to equipment maintenance problems with the previous COSEL LDA series.
