C&K launches sealed ultra-micro push switch

     C&K, a leading manufacturer of high-reliability electromechanical switches, has developed a sealed miniature push switch. The FP11 and FP12 versions of this switch have an extended service life of up to 50,000 cycles. The FP Series switches are sealed by an O-ring between the starter and the bushing to prevent contamination. This seal also allows for automatic welding and cleaning, saving a lot of time and money during assembly.

     The maximum operating force of the FP series switch is 4.9N and the mechanical stroke is 1.0mm. Operating temperature range is -20ºC to +80ºC. The switch is packaged in pallet and the cap is packaged in loose bag. The versatile FP series push-switch is available in a variety of versions (vertical and right-angle mounting; SPST, SPDT, DPST and DPDT; Multiple cap colors), commonly used in data communications and telecommunications applications.

     The right-angle mounting FP Series switches measure 5.6mm x 7mm and are only 4.5mm high. Vertically mounted FP Series switches measure 4.5mm x 7mm and are 5.6mm high. The FP Series switches are gold-plated on nickel-plated contacts and are available with or without white, black or red caps.
