C&K Introduces Economical Ultra-Miniature Tactile Switches, Supporting One Million Uses

      C&K, a leading manufacturer of high-quality electromechanical switches, has introduced a long-life, ultra-miniature tact switch. The PTS526 long-life ultra-small tact switch is improved on the basis of the well-known PTS526 series switches. Its electrical life is extended by 100%, and its mechanical life is increased from 500,000 times to 1 million times. The long-life versions of the PTS526 series meet the growing demand for high-quality, price-competitive switching solutions in high-volume consumer product production.

     The ultra-miniature PTS526 series long-life version tact switches measure 5.2 x 5.2 mm and can be customized in thicknesses from 0.8 mm to 2.0 mm. Since PCB space is at a premium in consumer electronic devices, the ultra-miniature PTS526 family of long-life version switches allows customers to add more functionality to product designs or develop smaller end products—without sacrificing product performance or reliability.
