Atmosic Announces Ultra-Low Energy Bluetooth® 5.3 System-on-Chip (SoC) Advanced Product Line with Energy Harvesting Technology

     Atmosic, a global leader in energy-harvesting wireless technologies for the Internet of Things (IoT), announces the ATM33 family of Bluetooth® 5.3 high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC) products that advance Atmosic’s patented advanced energy-harvesting and ultra-low-power technologies to higher level. Atmosic expands its award-winning product line to extend battery life by 3 to 5 times and support battery-free solutions for high-performance and high-endurance IoT

     In order to reduce the high battery replacement cost of various IoT products and reduce the harm to the environment, Atmosic has expanded its eco-friendly SoC product portfolio, developed and launched the ATM33 series. The new product supports the longest battery life and battery-free operation to date. The ATM33 series of SoCs have best-in-class wireless power performance with a 0.7mA ultra-low power receiver and a breakthrough high-efficiency transmitter that can operate efficiently at 0dBm to 10dBm output power. The battery life of this solution is 3 to 5 times longer than that of competing products.

     The ATM33 series continues Atmosic's tradition of innovation. The ATM33 integrates a power-optimized ARM® Cortex® M33F processor that operates at up to 64MHz and supports ARM TrustZone® for robust system security. The new product family has higher energy harvesting efficiency, wider energy harvesting input range, lower cold cranking voltage, and supports lithium-ion batteries and low-power speech processing. In addition, the Atmosic Sensor Hub also supports CPU-free operation, and even in deep sleep state, the SoC can perform sensor operation support functions such as accessing memory and transmitting beacons. The ATM33 family is available in three packages: 5x5 40-pin QFN, 7x7 56-pin QFN, and Wafer Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP) for very small volume applications. Samples will be available in the first quarter of 2022.
