Analog Devices Announces 10Gbps iCoupler Digital Isolators

      Analog Devices, Inc. introduces the ADN4624, the first in a new family of iCoupler digital isolators, which provides 10Gbps total bandwidth. The ADN4624 digital isolator provides four 2.5Gbps channels to seamlessly transfer data within the electrical domain, enabling new system architectures in digital health, instrumentation, and smart industry. This new digital isolator simplifies design and enables easy integration of isolation functions for safety or data integrity. The ADN4624 is a compact solution that meets medical standards while reliably isolating high-fidelity video and imaging links, precision analog front ends, and serial interconnects, and can be used to replace cumbersome dedicated fiber optic solutions.

     The ADN4624 provides simple connectivity, robust isolation, and data integrity in harsh environments. The new iCoupler digital isolators provide up to 10Gbps total bandwidth in a single small form factor device, enabling direct isolation of high-speed serial LVDS or CML at full speed, eliminating the complexity of de-serialization. The ADN4624 enables precision timing at ultra-low jitter to provide full ADC performance and resolution, including precision ADC sampling clocks.
