ADI's AD4134 is a quad, low noise, simultaneous sampling, precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that offers outstanding functionality, performance, and ease of use. Due to its resistive input structure, it is easy to drive, eliminating the need for an external high-speed amplifier to drive the analog input.      ADI's AD4134 is a quad, low noise, simultaneous sampling, precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that offers outstanding functionality, performance, and ease of use. Due to its resistive input structure, it is easy to drive, eliminating the need for an external high-speed amplifier to drive the analog input. The AD4134's inherent antialiasing filter also eliminates the need for an external second-order antialiasing filter before the ADC input. The integrated asynchronous sample rate converter simplifies the handshaking between the system clock and the modulator clock without limiting the maximum throughput of the interface.

     The EVAL-AD4134FMCZ evaluation kit features the AD4134 24-bit, 4-channel, simultaneous sampling, 1.5 MSPS precision alias-free ADC. The EVAL-AD4134FMCZ draws power from the System Demonstration Platform (SDP) EVAL-SDP-CH1Z (SDP-H1) board. The onboard DC-DC regulator regulates an external 8 V to 14 V supply to 5 V and 1.8 V to power the AD4134 and peripheral components. The onboard ADR444 generates a separate 4.096 V reference. The ADC is clocked by an onboard crystal.

     The EVAL-AD4134FMCZ is connected to the PC USB port through the SDP-H1 board. The AD4134 evaluation software running on the PC provides full access to the AD4134 device register map and has a data analysis interface for displaying key parameters and graphs from time and frequency domain conversion results, due to the extended temperature range, The AD4131 is a direct upgrade from the AD7134. This makes the AD4131 ideal for industrial applications.
