An eight-way transceiver for asynchronous bidirectional communication between data buses

Texas Instruments SN74AHC245/SN74AHC245-Q1 eight-way bus transceivers are designed for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses. Control functions are implemented to minimize external timing requirements.

The device supports the transfer of data from bus A to bus B, or from bus B to bus A. This transfer will depend on the logical level of the direction control (DIR) input. Output Enablement (OE) The input can be used to disable the device, which effectively isolates the bus.

To ensure high impedance during power-on or power-off, OE should be connected to VCC via a pull-up resistor; The current absorption capacity of the driver determines the minimum resistance. Texas Instruments SN74AHC245-Q1 device meets AEC-Q100 certification for automotive applications.
