     3M's Foil Tape 3380 is a nominal 1.8 mil foil backed tape that excels in a variety of applications and environments, including low temperatures. It is ideal for general thermal insulation and reflective applications. Its foil backing is coated with a cold-resistant acrylic adhesive. The aluminum backing conforms easily to corners, as well as curved and irregular surfaces, making it ideal for fiber and sheet metal ductwork applications. The adhesive excels in demanding low and high temperature applications. The tape is hand-tearable and easy to install, requiring no additional tools or application methods. 3M's 3380 Foil Tape is UL723 rated (10/10 flame/smoke rating).

     3M's 3380 Foil Tape is coated with a pressure sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive designed for cold weather applications. This adhesive performs well in demanding temperature and humidity applications. It adheres instantly on contact with a variety of materials, including fiber and sheet metal piping. The tape has a service temperature range of -40°F/-40°C to +260°F/+127°C and can be used in a variety of environmental conditions. Once bonded, it will provide good long-term retention and has good aging resistance to warping and curling.

Foil tape resists failure from common sources of degradation, including moisture, UV light, and many chemicals, and is commonly used in applications ranging from air ducts to washing machines, reflecting, wrapping, shading, sealing, and more.
